Last weekend our congregation hosted a ministry called Youth Encounter. A band that tours the United States by the name of Captive Free came for a Saturday night concert and helped to lead Sunday School and our later worship service on Sunday morning. What an important ministry! Here are some pictures.

Leading up to this August’s ELCA Churchwide Assembly in Minneapolis, the ELCA Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson is encouraging all ELCA members to engage in 50 Days of Prayer. Psalm 23

The lectionary, or prescribed set of Bible readings that we use in worship, assigns Psalm 23 as the psalm for this coming Sunday, October 12th.
This boy is named Tyler. His video was filmed while he was in the hospital recovering from heart surgery. Listening to him strengthened MY heart, too.
